Bento style lunchboxes are a great way to make kids’ lunches look interesting. They even make me (a fully formed human being) want to eat healthy food!
Since I’m always on the lookout for these cute, bento-style, lunchboxes, I thought I’d share a list of links to the New Zealand & Australian pages that sell them.
These type of lunch boxes are perfect for everyone – toddlers, school children, even adults!

Obviously, The Warehouse, Kmart, Spotlight (all in New Zealand), etc etc all sell these types of lunch boxes (by Sistema or Food Decor), so if you’re looking for something standard, check those out.
You can also look on Trade Me, or EBay; and do a Google search for yourself. However, I found the above websites to have quite comprehensive stock, and recommend you check them out first.
Be sure to check out my Lunch Box Reviews if you’re in need of a look at how each lunchbox works.
If you need exciting and different food ideas to put in your lunchbox, then check out my Lunchbox Ideas for Kids post.
Have you found somewhere within New Zealand and/or Australia that sells lunch boxes? Let me know!

Hi, a range of Bento supplies (incl. lunchboxes) are available through my wife’s bizzo – Deko Bento (www.dekobento.co.nz) 🙂
Hi Mike, thanks for sharing your wife’s business! I’ll add the link to the blog 🙂 – are there more bento boxes to come? I know a lot of my readers (and myself included) really love the multi-compartment boxes for our kids lunches 😀
We will be trying to source some from Japan soon. Will be in touch if we can secure a good supply! Thanks, MA
Fantastic – let me know when you do and your website is updated. Would be happy to do a shoutout to my followers 🙂
