Business Profile of Helles Teeth
Helles Teeth was started by New Zealander and Mum-of-2, Sarah. She created her business after deciding that the baby teething toys currently in the market, weren’t quite up to scratch for her.
She redesigned a teether, and made it completely out of non-toxic materials. They are textured so that they will be soothing on baby’s sore gums, and are visually appealing to both the baby and the parents, by using quirky themes.
Sarah’s first range was called “Teething by Odin”, and she used Kickstarter to fund this project. Helles Teeth has sold teethers to over 20 countries worldwide.
Kickstarter is a great way to get moving, and also for us to support local businesses in starting up

THE FUTURE OF HELLES TEETH
Sarah is about to take Helles Teeth to the next phase, and create a teething line called “Cthulhu”. In order to do this, she needs support of others to fund it, so a Kickstarter campaign has again been started to get the ball rolling.
If you’re interested, or even curious, please check out her campaign here. In it contains a video explaining her journey so far, and her goal for the Cthulhu range.
The Teething for Odin and Cthulhu Chew teethers are but the beginning. Sarah has many more design ideas for future Helles Teeth teethers And she hopes that she can achieve a fan-base who, along with their babies, will love her teethers as much as she and her little monkeys do.

NOTE FROM ME
Taking the leap forward and asking for help via Kickstarter is a bold and adventurous move. It’s also not easy. However, Kickstarter is a great way to get moving, and also for us to support local businesses in starting up. So from myself personally, I wish Sarah all the best in her venture 🙂
