THE REVIEW
Both my 2 year old AND 4 year old loved using it! Obviously it is more ideal for the younger child, but my girl enjoyed it as well and I caught her counting along with it. She even took it to bed a couple of times and used the screen as a night light. My 2 year old tries to count along with it, but can only count to four. Which isn’t bad!
The volume on the phone, can be adjusted – there are two settings. The louder of the two is the one I put it on, and it’s plenty loud enough. The kids can hear it, but I can’t. Win win as a parent!
There are several great things about the LeapFrog Chat & Count Smart Phone:
- Perfect size for small hands
- Helps your child learn about numbers and counting
- The phone is great for listening to the numbers and learning what they look like too – as they appear on the screen
- Cute animations on the screen
- Saves you from having to give your own phone to your toddler
Now in my opinion, if there is a device that not only educates my child AND keeps them away from my phone, then I’m ALL FOR IT!
