Sophia Purvis runs Little Box Brownie. Born and raised in New Zealand, she now lives in Melbourne, Australia (I think we can forgive her for that).
Sophia’s sister-in-law is one of the beautiful Mum’s whose child goes to the same Kindy as my daughter. She asked if I would like to take a look at the recipe book – of course I said yes!
Sophia took all her own photos for her cookbook, and for that, I am impressed. Obviously other than the fact she can cook, and put out a cookbook!
I am no cookbook-connesieur … but I know what I like. And I like lovely and simple.
The book itself is amazing – the recipes are wholesome, down-to-earth and easy to make. There’s nothing in here that I wouldn’t feel comfortable making.
It’s almost, a sweet version of the Edmond’s Cookbook. Definitely a must have in your house.
