My Thoughts:
I have chosen to only focus on the Sistema Lunch Range – as Sistema is a HUGE range and you can really use any of their containers to hold lunches. Sistema has an AMAZING range of lunch boxes that are perfect for everyone, and it’s probably the most affordable in this review,
Sometimes I find these lunch boxes to be too big, and because they don’t have individually sealed compartments, the food can move around a lot. If you’ve got a sandwich packed full of fillings, this can cause an issue.
Durability:
The Sistema range are sadly not the most durable – the clips on ours often break off. A couple of times I’ve dropped the lunch boxes and they’ve cracked. And not surprisingly, the kids have stood on them and they’ve also cracked.
Cleaning:
The Sistema Bento Box is a pain in the a** to clean – lots of things that come out that require cleaning individually.
The Apple / Yoghurt Test:
YES – you can most definitely fit a full sized apple and a yoghurt pottle in here.
Can my 3 year old open it? YES
Can my 5 year old open it? YES
